Paragliding is an extreme sport, but tandem paragliding is a very safe sport. Fethiye/Babadag is one of the most famous paragliding spots in the world, and tandem paragliding pilots here undergo rigorous practical and theoretical meteorology training. In addition, as long as the rules are followed in paragliding flights (wind speed, limit weight, etc.), the risk is minimal. In addition, there are always teams responsible for safety at the Babadag take-off runways and Ölüdeniz landing areas, which are unique in the world.

Paragliding activity in Fethiye is carried out from Babadag, whose peak is 1965 meters. There are 4 different height paragliding take-off runways in Babadağ (1200, 1700, 1800 and 1960 meters). While the runways are selected according to the wind direction, the 1700, 1800, 1960 meter runways are used for most of the year. Only in the months of the year when there is heavy snowfall in Babadağ, the 1200 meter runway is used.

The average paragliding flight time from Babadağ is 30 minutes. However, this period can be extended according to the weather conditions and the passenger’s request. The paragliding activity lasts around 2 hours in total. After leaving our office in Ölüdeniz, we drive for an average of 30 minutes to the summit of Babadağ. After reaching the paragliding take-off point, we start taking off after a 15-minute preparation and briefing. After 30 minutes in the sky, we land in front of our office in Ölüdeniz and upload your photos to your phone. This whole process takes about two hours.

Your pilots, who take a total of about 100 photos, 5 or 6 videos and 360-degree panoramic images, can send them to your phone right after your paragliding flight. With these photos and videos, you can immortalize the fun and enjoyable moments of paragliding and have the chance to watch and record Ölüdeniz, Badabağ and the Butterfly Valley from different angles.

You can witness very beautiful views and have the chance to take very beautiful photos at any time of the day during Fethiye paragliding. However, while morning hours offer a clear and clean view of Ölüdeniz, sunset flights will provide a wonderful view but will cause you to take darker and yellowish photos.
